the haiku home page

don’t call me fish-breath!
land lubbing long-legged thing
i will outstare you

rose-tipped Murchisons
safe realm of the takahe
stepped out of the grave

push it no pull it
twist it like the earth goes round
let’s see what’s inside
black and rubbery
tough as skulduggery
never giving up

they came for the gold / to cold and wild Hatcher Pass / we came for the dance

a few words on wings / a morsel to sustain me / haiku I like you

pink as flamingo / trickery of clouds and sun / unfolding the lake

here at Tumbledown
beyond the creeping sand dunes
mesmerising green
